TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Last Updated: February 17, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of audio processing and “Hardware Pass” services (“Services”) by Perfectly Sane Audio (“Provider,” “we,” “us”) to the entity or individual requesting such Services (“Client,” “you”).

By submitting files for processing or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Perfectly Sane Audio provides high-fidelity audio processing through premium analog hardware chains (e.g., Neve, Tube-Tech, UTA).

  • The “Hardware Pass”: Each order constitutes a manual, real-time capture of your audio through physical circuitry.
  • Nature of Analog: You acknowledge that analog processing involves unique harmonic characteristics. While we maintain a clinical standard of excellence, identical mathematical “recalls” are not possible due to the physical nature of vacuum tubes and transformers.

2. Fulfillment and Delivery Policy

We prioritize a clinical and disciplined delivery timeline to respect the production schedules of our global clients.

  • Turnaround Time: Processed files are delivered via a secure digital link within 5 business days of both successful payment and receipt of your valid source audio files.
  • The “Clinical” Clock: The 5-day window begins only after the Provider has received the final, technical-ready source material from the Client.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Due to the custom, hardware-intensive nature of our processing, we maintain a strict policy to protect the integrity of our studio time and equipment.

  • Final Sale: All sales are final. Refunds are not available once the hardware processing has been initiated.
  • Technical Errors: In the rare event of a technical error, hardware failure, or file corruption on our end, a complimentary re-run of the original material will be provided immediately.
  • Cancellation: If you wish to cancel an order before you have uploaded your files, please contact us for a full refund minus any third-party transaction fees.

4. Re-runs and Adjustments

  • 50% Re-run Discount: If you wish to adjust settings (e.g., more compression, different EQ curve) or provide an updated version of the same track after the initial pass is delivered, you may purchase a one-time re-run of that specific file at a 50% discount.
  • Window: This discount applies only to the original audio material and must be requested within 14 days of the original delivery.

5. Intellectual Property & Marketing Use

  • Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of the copyrights to your original and processed audio. We claim no rights to your music.
  • Marketing Use (Opt-Out): To showcase the results of our analog signal chain, we reserve the right to use short excerpts (up to 30 seconds) of the processed audio for promotional, marketing, and portfolio purposes (e.g., “Before/After” demonstrations).
  • Your Right to Privacy: We respect the sensitivity of unreleased material. If you do not wish for your audio to be used in our portfolio, you may opt-out at any time by emailing hello@perfectlysane.studio. We honor all privacy requests immediately and without question.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • File Specifications: You must provide files in WAV or AIFF format (24-bit/44.1kHz or higher). We are not responsible for defects present in the source material (e.g., digital clipping).
  • Backups: You must retain a backup copy of all material sent. Perfectly Sane Audio is not liable for data loss during transfer or storage.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
